BritishAmerican Business is delighted to announce the winners of the 2024 Transatlantic Growth (TAG) Awards, an annual campaign that celebrates the outstanding achievements of businesses that drive transatlantic trade and investment between the US and UK.

Now in its sixth year, the TAG campaign highlights the inspiring stories of businesses from SMEs to MNCs that underpin the transatlantic trade and investment relationship, creating growth, prosperity, and jobs on both sides of the Atlantic.

Recognised at an awards reception in London on 6th June, this year’s winners represent a diverse array of industries, showcasing the innovative spirit and relentless pursuit of growth that defines the transatlantic business community.

2024 TAG WINNERS

US SME Growth & Investment in the UK Stax – Despite global consulting contraction, Stax experienced a dynamic year marked by expansion into the UK In late 2022, Stax acquired a London-based consultancy and opened a new office to enhance value for our UK and EMEA private equity and investment banking clients.
UK SME Growth & Investment in the US Tower Cold Chain – Pharmaceutical thermal protection specialist Tower Cold Chain has recently opened its new headquarters in the Americas region. Located close to Philadelphia International Airport, the 26,000 sq. ft. building marks a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to pharmaceutical, airline and 3PL customers in North, Central and South America.
US Midsize Growth & Investment in the UK CFGI – CFGI, a Carlyle and CVC portfolio company, expanded into the UK market by opening its first London office in 2023. CFGI’s independent accounting and finance consultancy experts can use their Big Four experience to serve UK clients.
UK Midsize Growth & Investment in the US Drax – Drax announced a new business unit headquartered in Houston, Texas, to become the global leader in carbon removals. Working with strategic partners, it has the ambition to remove at least 6Mt of CO2 annually.
US Large Corporate & Long-Term Investment in the UK Mars – In 2023, Mars and DHL opened their new facility in the London Gateway – part of a £350m investment combined with its sister East Midlands site that reduces Mars’ logistics carbon footprint in the UK by 7.7%.
UK Large Corporate & Long-Term Investment in the US BAE Systems – The acquisition of Ball Aerospace, a leading US-focused space, intelligence and defence technology company significantly expands BAE Systems’ presence in the space domain, adding more than 5,000 employees to a new Space & Mission Systems business in the US.
