Celebrate transatlantic commerce and experience holiday cheer at the British American Business Council Signature Annual Luncheon. Enjoy a formal midday meal; “Christmas Crackers;” informative presentations; and exciting raffle prizes. The theme of this year’s program is – the business behind sports – an industry that is driving local economies and bringing people together from all over the world.
Elevating the business of sport throughout the transatlantic business community is a slam dunk, and the UK and Philadelphia are prominent players. Come one come all to learn the play-by-play, celebrate international business, and ring in the holiday season at our Signature Annual Holiday Luncheon.
Excitement and momentum are building! Philadelphia, home to winning star-studded teams, was selected as a FIFA World Cup 2026™ host city in the US, and the Philadelphia Phillies are heading to London for a two-game regular-season series this June when the MLB returns for another summer showdown. The Greater Philadelphia region is known throughout the globe for enthusiastically supporting sports teams and legends. Not only do Philadelphians welcome and rally around games, but they are also deeply invested in this booming industry.
The BABCPHL is proud to drive, support and attract engagement for the great pastime – sport, a powerful vehicle for societal change. “Sport for good”/grassroots community involvement; diversity, equity, and inclusion; tourism and business development; and the role of media and technology are key factors.
Sport is a great unifier, and it is an exciting time in history. Industry professionals and stakeholders will present what is happening in this important business sector and how the UK and Greater Philadelphia are partnering to win!
Attendees will have the opportunity to win American Airlines AAdvantage miles for a pair of roundtrip, Business Class tickets on American Airlines’ award winning, non-stop service from Philadelphia International Airport to London.
