On February 6th, 1952, at 25 years of age, Queen Elizabeth II ascended to the Throne of the United Kingdom and Head of the Commonwealth and is now the longest serving Monarch in British History. This year, she also celebrated her 96th birthday.
The BABC Northern California and the Saint Andrew’s Society of San Francisco have come together to celebrate this momentous occasion and to honor the Queen for her sense of duty and her devotion to a life of service for the past 70 years.
Join us, and British Deputy Consul General, Tahmmy Sandhu, on June 12th at the fabulous Fairmont Hotel, San Francisco for a fun-filled afternoon to commemorate the British Monarchy’s longest serving member of the Royal Family. Promised to be one of the best events this summer!
In true British style, this event will have lots of pomp and ceremony so Ladies, break out your fancy frocks, hats and fascinators, and Gents, your tops and tails. Bonnie Prince Highland Dress (or best suit!), to help us to celebrate in style!
