The result of the U.S. election in November heralded significant changes in the United States on a host of ESG matters. With these dramatic shifts in U.S. policy on climate, DEI, even anti-corruption, the divide between the “U.S. and the rest” has entered a new phase, with the approach taken in the U.S. becoming ever more markedly different to that taken around the world, particularly in the UK and Europe.
