Todd White (Founder of the American Blockchain Political Action Committee, and Managing Partner of Rulon & White Governance Strategies) created the first independent digital currency and blockchain government affairs firm in the US. He has worked with congressional staff and officials in the White House, the Department of Treasury and the Securities and Exchange Commission to strike-out obtuse language on every piece of House and Senate-sponsored Crypto-blockchain legislation, including the Investment Infrastructure Jobs Act of 2021.
Todd’s firm (RWGS) was the first to approach the Chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission to lobby on the regulatory recommendations incorporating digital currencies as a legitimized commodity in 2014. He began his Washington, DC career as a legislative staffer for Rep. John Conyers, former chair of the House Judiciary Committee. An alumnus of Harvard University, John F. Kennedy School of Government in Public Policy; Central Michigan University in Finance, and Eastern Michigan University in Economics, he raises funds to support disadvantaged students through the Harvard Kennedy Fund and Home School Legal Defense Association. He is fluent in Spanish, and conversant in Mandarin and Gujarati.
Alon Goren is a Founding Partner of Draper Goren Holm, a Venture Studio focused on accelerating and incubating early-stage blockchain startups; and Co-Founder of LA Blockchain Summit. In addition to being an investor, he is the leader of one of SoCal’s largest groups of investors and entrepreneurs, 805 Startups, with a laser-focused eye on building and supporting startups and entrepreneurs.
A pioneer in the crowdfunding space, Alon had been involved in over $300 Million Dollars in online investment transactions. He has developed technology that powers websites and financial transactions for Fortune 500 companies and well-known foundations like Coca-Cola, American Express, ATB Financial and Global Philanthropy Group. His previous company, InvestedIn, created a white label fundraising portal for individuals and businesses hoping to crowdfund ventures independently of major platforms. Later, his support of the JOBS Act, online media expertise and day-to-day interactions with venture funds, investors and financial professionals inspired him to create a solution to market hedge funds, real estate funds and venture funds to investors over the internet. A thought leader on blockchain, social enterprise, venture capital and crowdfunding, Alon has spoken at SXSW, Kingonomics and many other conferences, and hasbeen featured in prominent publications including Forbes, WSJ, Washington Post, TechCrunch and VentureBeat.
Austin McHenry has been instrumental in launching nearly half dozen Token and NFT projects into public markets. Social BEES University DAO core team member, Web3 enthusiast and investor, he strives to facilitate the largest transfer of wealth and knowledge in history via education, innovation and collaboration.
