On May 27th, 2022 The St. George’s Society of Toronto will host the Spring Jubilee Dinner to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, marking her 70th anniversary on the Throne.
The Honorary Patron for the Spring Jubilee Dinner is Her Honour the Honourable Elizabeth Dowdeswell, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario.
An evening of fun and philanthropy, the Spring Jubilee Gala black-tie dinner at the Arts & Letters Club will support of the many charitable works of The St. George’s Society of Toronto.
The Gala will combine St. George’s performances and Shakespeare readings, as well as a silent auction to raise funds for the St. George’s Society Charitable Trust. Funds raised at this event will be distributed to local charities supporting refugees from individuals fleeing war, including of course the current conflict in the Ukraine.
In honour of The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee the St. George’s Society of Toronto will recognize the charitable and volunteer efforts of up to three Torontonians with the St. George’s Society of Toronto 2022 Awards of Merit at the upcoming Spring Jubilee Gala.
Recipients must have demonstrated a meaningful contribution to charitable / philanthropic work during the past two years in the areas of focus of the Society: education, social and community services, health, and the arts.
