It’s time to scale your business in 2023 by hearing from experts in the fields of Finance, Law, HR, Marketing and Entrepreneurship. This event will be one not to miss to gain crucial advice, network with other business owners and gain inspiration to scale up your business in 2023.

There is also an opportunity for 4 lucky businesses to pitch to the panel, Dragons Den style! Those selected will have the opportunity to present their business plan to our expert panel and receive real-time, professional advice. One business will be awarded a prize of a 12-month Chamber Standard Membership for the value of £500!

Chris Piggott, Employment Partner – mfg Solicitors 

Chris is recognised in the leading legal directories of Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 as an employment law specialist. Chris qualified as a solicitor in 1995. He is a trusted adviser to a number of UK plc’s and UK subsidiaries of European and US Fortune 500 companies, together with general commercial clients and senior executives on matters of employment law. Chris has previously represented the CBI’s interests in Europe on employment issues and is a regular trainer and speaker to UK businesses on employment law and HR business practices.

Chris advises clients on all aspects of employment law including TUPE, staff re-organisations, injunctive relief and enforcement of restrictive covenants, predominantly in the recruitment, food manufacturing, automotive and Further Education sectors.

Chris is also part of the Firm’s Restructuring and Insolvency Sector Team and a member of the Institute of Directors and Employment Lawyers Association and a regular attendee at Chambers events.

Originally a Biochemist with a naturally curious, analytical and investigative mind, I spent the past 2-3 decades working tirelessly to develop into an exceptional business and change consultant. With experience that has been born out of the delivery of multi-million-pound projects and programmes across public and private sectors, I continue to support our clients in designing and implementing transformation and change.

In my CEO role, I am keen to ensure that Entec Si’s values and ethos are truly reflected in everything we do as an organisation. Entec Si’s growth journey has been and continues to be focussed on the development and growth of our amazing team to be the best in the industry, which ultimately serves to secure the necessary outcomes for our clients.

As well as loving flying fixed-wing aircraft as a private pilot, my other interests include running, indoor climbing, and drawing and painting with watercolours.
