The Sustainable Business Series Conference

November 2, 2023 @ 8:30 am - 12:30 pm

The Sustainable Business Series campaign aims to share best practice, guidance and knowledge to improve business know-how and progression to net zero.

In January this year, the Government released its Net Zero Review, which set out the historic opportunity offered by Net Zero. Indeed, the review, by former Energy Minister Chris Skidmore, made clear that the UK could do more to achieve the economic benefits associated with green growth. The main recommendations highlighted by the review include:

  • Using Infrastructure to unlock Net Zero
  • Creating sustainable governance structures for Net Zero
  • Backing businesses to go green
  • Catalysing local action
  • Increasing transparency and engaging people
  • Delivering cleaner and greener homes
  • Capitalising on international leadership
  • Setting the UK up for 2050 and beyond

This conference will help businesses understand their role in progressing to net zero, as well as the opportunities and challenges that will come from the transition. The conference will look to support businesses on their net zero journey at a time when many are struggling.
